Screen Lock

If you can't sign in on the device you are reporting, you can still install the screensaver by following those instructions:

To set this image as the screensaver on a Mac device:

Download the screensaver by clicking on the image above
In the download location, double click on the screenlock.zip file to expand it
choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Screen Saver in the sidebar.
Scroll down to Other, then click "Photos".
Scroll back up, click "Options".
In the pop-up menu, select “Choose a folder” as the source
Navigate to the download location to a folder named "screenlock" and select this folder
Click Choose.

If the device you are reporting is not a managed device (managed devices have company stickers on them), check that the screensaver will turn on by going to the "Lock Screen" in System settings: Update them so that “Start Screensaver when inactive” is set to 5 minutes or less.

If you want to trigger the screensaver right away, go to the terminal (Press command + space + return then type "terminal.app") . Paste the following line of code followed by "return" (⏎).

open /System/Library/CoreServices/ScreenSaverEngine.app
